The What and Who of IRIS

Interdisciplinary Research Institute on Sustainability

 

The Interdisciplinary Research Institute on Sustainability (IRIS) is an Inter-University Centre constituted by the University of Turin and the University of Brescia. It is also in place an agreement with the University of Valle d'Aosta.
The following departments are involved in IRIS:

 

Department of Animal and Human Biology (University of Turin)

Department of Economics "Cognetti de Martiis" (University of Turin)

Department of Veterinary Sciences (University of Turin)

Department of Social Studies (University of Brescia)

IRIS includes amongst its members University lecturers and researchers from various institutions as well as independent scholars who share in the interest of entering into dialogue and learning from each other about the complex and often controversial themes of sustainability.
